Wiston Rodriguez, M.S.

Associate Consultant

Wiston Rodriguez is an Associate Consultant at Bandelli & Associates. He is a doctoral candidate in industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology at Baruch College & The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY). His research focuses on topics within occupational health psychology such as workplace mistreatment, illegitimate tasks, and the work-nonwork interface. He also studies topics in DE&I, specifically, looking at the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ employees and how those experiences impact work and nonwork outcomes. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Personality and Individual Differences and Organizational Psychology Review. 

Wiston has applied experience working with global and Fortune 500 organizations in the areas of talent management, learning and development, assessment, and applied consulting. As an Associate Consultant at Bandelli & Associates, Wiston leads one of the research streams on relational intelligence, while receiving training in leadership development, senior executive selection, and executive education. He has a passion for helping employees and organizations reach their full potential by integrating the application of science in the workplace. 

Wiston was born in Daly City, California. His Nicaraguan heritage, along with his upbringing in the Bay Area offered him the ability to work with diverse individuals who come from a variety of different cultures and offer unique perspectives. Wiston currently teaches both undergraduate and graduate level courses across CUNY and is invested in the development of his students. He is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Academy of Management. 

Wiston received his Master of Science in I-O Psychology California State University, Long Beach, and is currently finishing up his Ph.D. study in I-O Psychology at Baruch College & The Graduate Center, CUNY.
